Engineers Without Borders - Boston Chapter

Mike Stover Bio/Rotary Presentation – April 9 from 1:00-1:30pm

Mike Stover graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware in 1989, and with a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University in 1993. As a U.S. Public Health Service commissioned officer, Mike spent thirty years in service to Native Americans through the Indian Health Service and the Environmental Protection Agency, working with Tribal Nations in New England, Michigan, New York, Alaska, California and Arizona designing and constructing water and wastewater treatment facilities and administering environmental protection programs serving the tribes. 

Mike also has been involved with Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Washington DC Professional Chapter from 2005-2012 and with the Boston Professional Chapter from 2019 to the present.

Mike’s presentation will include an overview of Engineers Without Borders – Boston Professional Chapter, including the history, mission, and values of the organization. Mike will discuss the Chapter’s current projects related to water, sanitation, education and health both locally and in central Tanzania.
