What a wonderful way to welcome everyone back after our summer break! On Wednesday, September 23, we hosted our first Bedford Community Dinner of the season at the First Church of Christ Upper Fellowship Hall, and it was a huge success.
Over 75 guests joined us for an evening of warm fellowship and incredible food. A special thank you goes out to Gourmet India for their wonderful generosity in sponsoring and catering the meal—the food was absolute perfection, and it was a treat for everyone (including our volunteers!) to take a night off from cooking.
This is just the beginning of our dinner series! We have 6 more community dinners scheduled for the season. Going forward, dinners will take place on the 4th Wednesday of each month (no dinners in November and December to accommodate the holidays).
We are actively looking for volunteers for our next dinner. We were a little short on servers for the September event, so we are hoping to fill all our server slots so everything runs smoothly next time!
Sign-ups are already open—whether you can assist with setup, serving, or cleanup, your help makes a huge difference. Please take a moment to sign up on our portal today!
We are also thrilled to announce that Lita has generously stepped up to serve as our Dining Room Manager going forward! Thank you, Lita, for taking on this vital role and helping us keep our community dinners organized and welcoming.
Thank you to all the Rotarians and friends who supported our kickoff dinner. Let’s keep the momentum going for our next event!
