This month, one of our own is taking Rotary's mission of service well beyond Bedford's borders. Lita Verrier, President-Elect, along with Susan Tordella, President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Littleton, have embarked on a journey to Ghana, Benin, and Togo alongside fellow Rotarians to support hands-on projects making a real difference in the region.
Their trip centers on two impactful initiatives:
- Education access – supporting K-8 schools through Volta Vision for Education, an effort dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for children in the area.
- Emergency health access – advancing the ambulance tricycle project, known as Moving Health, which is led by Victor Tom and works to bring critical medical transport to communities that need it most.
